Maha Kumbh 2025 surely gave unexpected overnight fame to many, but none got it like Maha Kumbh’s popular Monalisa Bhosle. A girl from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, who was merely in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj to sell garlands at the Maha Kumbh, turned into one of the most talked about girls after her videos and phones began to go viral on the internet. From her hazel eyes to her dusky skin colour and from her captivating smile to her desi get up, the girl became THE girl on social media. Her popularity even reached a level where she reportedly bagged a Bollywood opportunity, which only opened her gates for a brighter future in front of cameras.
However, along with all the love and fame, what also came along were some different types of struggles. Believe it or not, Bhosle ended up becoming the latest victim to questionable deepfakes!
Before deepfakes, videos of the poor one getting harassed and chased by men to get pictures clicked with her were also shared on social media, which left the internet stunned and embarrassed at the same time. The matter was hardly out of the spotlight when the deepfakes began to emerge. Some videos showed Bhosle posing for the paparazzi, while some showed her dancing and posing for the lens in a red dress near a river.

As soon as the clips went viral, speculations of them being fake also began to run. As per Logically Facts, the videos were a deepfakes. The images were also declared ‘AI-generated or deepfake content’, after reportedly being run under the Hive Moderation, an online AI detection tool.
As per reports, the videos of Monalisa posing for cameras were of Bollywood actors and social media influencers instead. A few images also turned out to be originals of Tanu Rawat, a media influencer. All in all, such videos of Monalisa were all deepfakes.
