Producer Wasim Rizvi has publicly accused Sanoj Mishra of deceit and misconduct. In a recent interview, he labeled the director a “drunkard” and claimed that Mishra has a history of making false promises to young girls, luring them to Mumbai with the prospect of film roles. According to Rizvi, The Diary of Manipur is nothing more than a sham. He alleged that Mishra is using the film as an excuse to take Monalisa to various events, rather than actually making a movie. Additionally, Rizvi pointed out that none of Mishra’s previous films have been released, questioning his credibility as a filmmaker.

Wasim Rizvi further expressed concern that Monalisa’s family should have done thorough background checks before entrusting her future to Sanoj Mishra. He suggested that young talents like her need proper guidance and protection in the film industry. Videos of Monalisa’s acting training in Mumbai have been circulating online, sparking debates about whether she is being exploited. Reports suggest that Sanoj Mishra is personally supervising her training, raising further concerns about the authenticity of the film and Monalisa’s safety.

In response to the allegations, Sanoj Mishra took to Instagram on Monday to dismiss the rumors. He claimed that people were trying to defame him and that he had faced multiple legal challenges even during the filming of The Diary of West Bengal. He insisted that he was only providing Monalisa with opportunities and guiding her toward success.

Amid the controversy, Monalisa spoke out in a video message. She stated that Sanoj Mishra met her in Prayagraj and offered her the lead role, which she was thrilled about. She reassured everyone that she was grateful for the opportunity and would work hard for the role. Monalisa revealed that she is currently in Madhya Pradesh, undergoing acting training while also continuing her studies. She added that she will receive three months of professional training in Mumbai before the filming of The Diary of Manipur begins.

In her recent video statement, Monalisa urged people to disregard baseless rumors about her and Sanoj Mishra. She emphasized that the director treats her like a daughter and that she trusts his intentions.
